With the purpose of promoting economic cooperation and highlighting Franco-Dominican innovation, the Franco-Dominican Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFD) will celebrate November 12 to 15 in it Hotel JW Marriott a new edition of the French Week in Santo Domingowhich this year will address the topic “Blue economy and smart cities”.
The event is consolidated as the main space business meeting between France and the Dominican Republicfocused on sustainabilitytechnology and urban development of the future.
The forum expects the participation of more than 800 businessmen, investors, authorities and institutional representativeswith the aim of deepen bilateral economic ties and promote initiatives in sustainable mobility, energy, technological innovation, waste management and green financing.
The activities will begin on Wednesday, November 12 with a inaugural cocktail in which the contributions to the business collaboration Franco-Dominican, the organizers highlighted in a press release.
The next day, the President Luis Abinader will lead the opening ceremonyaccompanied by Eury Vasquezpresident of the CCIFD, and official representatives of France. The day will focus on innovation and the energy transition.
That same Thursday the 13thhe Minister of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs, Ito Bisonówill participate in a business lunchfollowed by business meetings B2Bdesigned to connect French and Dominican companies from different strategic sectors.
Gastronomic, artistic and cultural experience
The closing will be celebrated on Saturday November 15 with a cultural day dedicated to art and French elegance. The program will include a conference at the Alliance Française and the Chic à la Française Walkwhich will take place in Blue Mallwith gastronomic, artistic and lifestyle experiences open to the public.
Organized every two years by the Franco-Dominican Chamber of Commerce and Industrythe France Week brings together more than 210 affiliated companies and constitutes a key space for strengthen economic relations between both countries.
