In the Classic of the league, América suffered in the 52nd minute the expulsion of Jonathan Dos Santos and although he noticed it in the first moments after the drop, the match was ordered and rescued.

In the second part, Guadalajara came out to impose conditions. In minute 52 Hiram Mier crashed a ball into the crossbar and immediately his team was left with one more man on the field due to the expulsion of Jonathan Dos Santos.

Guadalajara tried to take advantage of the superiority. In minute 56 ‘Alexis Vega shot from the outside and in minute 57’ Jesús Angulo was close to the goal, but his shot was stopped by goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa.

América stood up well in the last half hour and saved the tie that raised the team to penultimate place with seven points, the same as Mazatlán, while Guadalajara is ninth with 12.
