General Marco Marín Saldaña dies after helicopter accident in Pataz
The Peruvian Army confirmed the death of Brigadier General Marco Marín Saldaña, head of the Pataz Unified Command, after an accident that occurred inside a helicopter while the aircraft was on the ground, in the town of Chagual, Pataz province, La Libertad region.
Through its official account on the social network
The helicopter would have stuck to a wire fence located on the perimeter of the heliport. The rear propeller made contact with the fence, which caused several metal fragments to be thrown.
One of those fragments directly hit General Marín Saldaña, who was inside the aircraft, causing his immediate death. He was the only one affected by the incident.
