An open conflict against Venezuela could lead to a continental struggle, given the recent military provocations and false flag attempts carried out by the United States and Trinidad and Tobago, warned the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, during the press conference of the political platform.
«Whoever believes that a conflict with Venezuela is limited only to Venezuela, is not reading real history correctly. […] This could be a continental struggle and beyond,” warned Cabello, who reported on the daily reception of “requests from people from other parts of the world who want to come to Venezuela to join the defense.”
«It is good that President Lula cares [Da Silva]because we are neighbors of Brazil. Let him raise his voice – not say ‘yes, sir’- to defend our America, to defend the great, complete Homeland,” said Cabello, in reference to the Brazilian president’s recent offer to serve as a mediator between Caracas and Washington.
In addition, he condemned the position of the ecclesiastical hierarchy regarding a potential offensive against the Venezuelan Homeland. “Someone sells them that when the bombs come, they are only for the Chavistas, and they only harm the Chavistas, and they believe that by divine power nothing will happen to them.”
“From their position they should at least be neutral,” argued Cabello, who recalled the participation of the ecclesiastical authorities in the attempt to sabotage the commemorative events for the canonization of José Gregorio Hernández and Carmen Rendiles, both in Venezuelan territory and in Rome.
«Leopoldo López has not been Venezuelan for a long time»
Likewise, Cabello assured that the traitor to the Homeland and fugitive from Venezuelan justice, Leopoldo López, “has not been Venezuelan for a long time.” “Beyond that, he agrees to enlist in an enemy army against his own country.” “Consequently, his nationality corresponds to the army of the invading forces, not to the army of Venezuela,” the PSUV leader noted that this measure has jurisprudence in numerous places.
“Whoever calls for invasion, aggression against this country will be treated as an enemy of the Homeland, with all that that means,” he reiterated.
