The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv), Diosdado Cabello asserted that the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv) has called for a permanent mobilization agenda throughout the national territory in rejection of the action that the United States intends to carry out in Trinidad and Tobago to attack the Bolivarian nation.
In this sense, he highlighted that the mobilization began this Monday, October 27, in the states of Sucre, Anzoátegui, Nueva Esparta and Delta Amacuro, to ratify the commitment of the Venezuelan people to peace and in defense of sovereignty.
“This is going to be there all these days, until it is necessary, because North American imperialism with the lackey government of Trinidad and Tobago, led by a lady, who applauds the murder of people on the high seas, have decided, supposedly, to carry out military exercises very close to Venezuelan territory,” he said, assuring that this action is a provocation and a false flag operation.
Cabello stated that with the recent military action, the North American empire is looking for any justification to attack the nation, and proof of this is that it began with the narratives of the “Aragua Train” and the “Cartel of the Suns”, but no one believes them.
In this regard, he said that the people remain active and mobilized “in peace, calm and sending a message to the people of Trinidad and in rejection of the statements of the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Kamla Persad-Bissessar”, while ensuring that “these peoples are brothers, regardless of who governs Trinidad.”
“Both Caribbean peoples are brothers, and have maintained historical commercial ties, as well as ties of friendship,” he expressed while describing as a “provocation” the carrying out of alleged military exercises in Trinidad and Tobago near the Venezuelan coasts orchestrated by “North American imperialism.”
Likewise, he indicated that these maneuvers are taking place in front of Macuro, in the state of Sucre, a strategic area in eastern Venezuela.
