Senator Iván Cepeda remained with the candidacy of the Historical Pact, after surpassing former Health Minister Carolina Corcho this Sunday in the partisan consultation.

At 4 pm the 20,000 tables were closed and the 142,021 jurors began counting votes.
They denounce the transfer of tables
For his part, Iván Cepeda denounced this Sunday that the electoral organization moved 4,000 voting stations on the day in which the Historical Pact.
“There are 4,000 voting stations that have been moved to municipal seats in rural areas of the country. Areas in which it is known that voting for the Historical Pact “It is supremely numerous and massive.”said Cepeda after voting in the Kennedy neighborhood, in the southwest of Bogotá.
Cepeda highlighted the influx of voters: “All the reports we have so far indicate that it is a massive, multitudinous influx in many parts of the country.” However, he said that he registered “with concern inconsistencies, irregularities, and limitations that have been placed by the electoral organization so that citizens’ rights are exercised in the best way.”.
Meanwhile, former Minister Corcho assured after voting that her objective “it is to achieve an important participation, because it is very important for this country that a political party has used an instrument of democracy to define by popular and citizen vote its dignities, its candidacies”.
Petro criticizes electoral organization
For his part, President Petro denounced inconsistencies on the part of the National Registry, the entity that organizes the elections, during the Historical Pact voting, although he highlighted the influx of voters to the polling stations.
“Disaster of the Registry, of its systems program that falls or is sabotaged, leaving citizens without voting. They failed to comply: there were 13,000 positions and there are 9,000”Petro wrote in his X account after voting in the south of Bogotá.
