Three of the six candidates invited to CADE Executives 2025 decline their participation

In the last hours, three of the six candidates invited to the CADE Executives 2025 electoral block announced that they will not participate in that important event.

These are Keiko Fujimori, Carlos Álvarez and César Acuña, who explained the reasons why they will not be in that forum on November 6. As is known, CADE Executives 2025 invited the six candidates with the highest voting intention to present their proposals.

Popular Force sends letter

Through a letter, Fuerza Popular thanked “the kind invitation extended” to participate in the event organized by IPAE, but specified that it will not be able to attend due to internal and agenda reasons.

“With due respect, we inform you that, on this occasion, we will not be able to participate,” the statement says.

Among the reasons given, Fuerza Popular explained that the decision is due, “on the one hand, to scheduling complications of those who could eventually run for the Presidency of the Republic, and on the other, to the fact that our internal process of defining candidates is still ongoing.”

Likewise, the party expressed its support for the country’s businessmen and entrepreneurs, highlighting their work despite political instability.

“On each tour of Peru we reaffirm our support for businessmen and entrepreneurs who, despite political instability, get up every day to move the country forward,” the document states.

Finally, Fuerza Popular expressed its recognition of the CADE initiative and left open the possibility of participating in future editions.

Álvarez explained his reasons

In the case of Álvarez, the decision was communicated through a video broadcast on his networks, where he expressed his gratitude for the invitation, but harshly criticized the format of the business meeting, which he described as a space that does not reflect the reality of the country.

According to him, the forum has established itself as a “social activity of an elite” that analyzes the challenges of Peru from a perspective other than that of citizens who deal daily with informality and the difficulties of entrepreneurship.

“It is easy to comment on poverty while drinking champagne, fine pisco, accompanied by toast with caviar,” he noted.

The comedian also criticized the cost of access to the forum, which exceeds $3,000 per participant, and demanded clarity about the destination of the funds raised.

“With that price they automatically exclude those who have the most to say about how the country works or does not work: those who work, those who sell, those who fight to get ahead,” he said.

César Acuña will not attend either

For his part, Luis Valdez, general secretary of Alianza Para el Progreso, stated that César Acuña will not be in the CADE 2025 electoral bloc.

“Mr. Acuña thanked the invitation and apologized for not being able to attend the scheduled date for CADE. This was in response to commitments made well in advance,” he told Peru21.

Which candidates will go to CADE 2025?

The three candidates who have confirmed Peru21 Their participation in the electoral bloc are Mario Vizcarra, Alfonso López Chau and the former mayor of Lima, Rafael López Aliaga.

A few days ago, the organizers of CADE Executive 2025 invited the six candidates who have the greatest voting intention. That is, Rafael López Aliaga, from Renovación Popular; Keiko Fujimori, from Fuerza Popular; Mario Vizcarra, from Peru Primero; Carlos Álvarez, from Country for All; Alfonso López Chau, from Ahora Nación; and César Acuña, from Alliance for Progress. All of them represent political organizations registered before the National Elections Jury.

The Electoral Block, titled “Choose responsibly”, will take place on Thursday, November 6, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, during the closing day of CADE Executives 2025.
