The Board of Directors of the Chamber of Deputies approved an agreement to create a digital platform that serves to speed up the electronic processing of opinions approved in committees.
The document, dated October 21, indicates that one of the most important inputs for legislative work are the opinions, so “it is vitally important” to guarantee that these are adequately conveyed to all instances.
“Technology has developed in such a way that there are new computer tools that contribute to more agile and better performance of multiple procedures in the management of electronic documents between the different areas of the Chamber.”
For this reason, it was agreed to launch the use of a “digital collaboration and document management platform that allows for streamlining the electronic processing of law or decree opinions, between the ordinary commissions and the Board of Directors.” The General Secretariat, the Parliamentary Services Secretariat, and the Administrative and Financial Services Secretariat will be in charge of making a proposal for the Board of Directors to approve.
