Two women were murdered by men with apparent passionate motives, according to reports.
One of the victims is identified as Luzdalys Adriana Perozo, a 25-year-old manicurist. This person was attacked last Thursday night when he was leaving a spa where he worked, located on Miranda Street in the town of Obispos, Barinas state.
The man who approached her is identified as José Balza (55), with whom she had had a relationship in the past. The subject stabbed him five times; in chest and throat.
Balza recorded a video admitting to the crime, claiming that the woman asked him for money and made fun of him. The Public Ministry reported that Balza was charged with the crime of aggravated femicide.
Luzdery left five children.
The other murdered woman was registered as Mirelia Maita Martínez, 31 years old, who was hit several times with a pipe, by a subject identified as Jesús Rafael Hernández (61). The beating occurred last Friday night in the house where both lived, located in the Fundo Anaco sector, Anaco municipality, Anzoátegui state.
The woman was taken to the Luis Razzetti hospital (Barcelona, Anzoátegui), where she died this Saturday.
The alleged femicide was arrested by Polianaco agents, after having received the complaint from the victim’s mother, who told the agents that on other occasions the subject had hit Mirelia.
