The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the former president Dina Boluartewho filed a labor lawsuit against Reniecan entity that must pay him 213,174.63 soles for labor benefits.
The origin of the litigation was that Boluarte considered that his employment contract with Reniec had been distorted into an indefinite-term relationship, which gave him the right to social benefits not received, such as CTS, bonuses, vacations and collective benefits.
Although initially the recognized amount exceeded S/239 thousand, Reniec filed an appeal, alleging that Boluarte held a position of trust (head of the registry office) in certain periods.
The CSJ validated this argument, eliminating the collective benefits corresponding to those sections and adjusting the final figure to the S/213,174.63 that the entity must pay.
