Develops educational activities in rural schools in Cerro Largo

The Museum without Borders program continues its work of bringing culture and heritage to the rural communities of Cerro Largo, through workshops and educational activities that involve children and teachers from different locations in the department.

On this occasion, the museum team works together with schoolchildren from School No. 33 of Cuchilla Grande, School No. 50 of Rincón de Py and School No. 58 of Bañado Medina, with the aim of promoting knowledge and appreciation of the local cultural and historical heritage.

The sessions include interactive proposals that combine art, history and the environment, seeking to awaken in students curiosity about the environment and a sense of belonging to their territory.

The Museum Without Borders project stands out for its decentralizing approach, bringing museum experiences to deep interior areas where access to cultural spaces is limited, thus strengthening the link between education, community and heritage.
