The Vente Venezuela movement denounced on the afternoon of this Friday, October 24, the arbitrary detention of Javier Cisneros, who is part of the youth structure in Caracas, by unidentified armed men.
«His grandmother was attacked and his sister threatened. Javier suffers from tuberculosis and needs his daily medication. YOUR LIFE IS IN DANGER. We demand his immediate appearance,” said Vente Venezuela in social networks.
The Committee for the Freedom of Political Prisoners also denounced the detention, while demanding that the State immediately report their whereabouts and state of health; that urgent access to medical care be guaranteed; Immediate communication with family members and trusted lawyers is allowed; and that the persecution against young people, activists and social communicators who exercise civil and political rights stops.

At least 30 people who are part of Vente Venezuela structures have been detained since the beginning of October, with Trujillo being the entity with the most registered cases.
