Colombia’s air connectivity will register a significant expansion during the last quarter of 2025. Between October and December, 12 new international routes will come into operation, which represents more than half of the 21 connections scheduled for this year.. Among the new routes that will begin operations are Guatemala City–Bogotá, Montego Bay–Bogotá, Toronto–Cartagena, Curacao–Bogotá, Punta Cana–Medellín and Guadalajara–Bogotá, operated by airlines such as Wingo, Air Canada, LATAM, JetSmart and Volaris.

International management to expand long-range connectivity
Colombia is advancing in the management of new connectivity opportunities with markets in America, Europe and Asia. During the Routes World 2025 event, held in Hong Kong, a delegation led by ProColombia said 28 strategic meetings with 15 airlines, six international airports and seven representatives of the aeronautical industry.
The meeting allowed us to strengthen the country’s positioning as a destination with expansion potential and explore agreements with Asian airlines such as ANA, Japan Airlines, Air China and Shenzhen Airlines.
