“Justice, justice”, repeated a group of people, including family, friends and activists, who this Friday, with signs against violence against women, marched in the center of the city of Potosí and went to the facilities of the Departmental Prosecutor’s Office. For the most part, they demanded prison for the main author of the murder of Pamela Rocha, a 29-year-old woman who died last Monday.

In the precautionary measures hearing that took place yesterday afternoon, the Potosí Criminal Enforcement Court ordered preventive detention for a period of one month in the Cantumarca prison for Wilma M., mother of Oswil JF, who allegedly committed the femicide and is currently a fugitive, reported Radio Fides.
This is the first case of femicide in Potosí so far this year.
