Barracas Central turned around an incredible match in the complement and beat Rosario Central 3-1 at the Gigante de Arroyito, for the sixth date of Zone B of the Professional Soccer League Cup.

The goals were converted by Marco Ruben, from a penalty, for the locals, in the first half; and Carlos Arce, Bruno Sepúlveda and Facundo Castro for the winner, in the complement.

Rosario Central was much superior in the first half, to the winger who had 78 percent possession of the ball, and generated the clearest arrivals.

The locals monopolized the ball with remarkable patience to move it in a fan and look for the gap on the sides or the filtered pass, like at 6′ when Blanco -the best local player- overflowed and sent a cross to the near post, which Ruben headed in advance and bounced off Ferreyra, in an uncharged corner.

Central warned again at 19′ when Gamba placed Ruben well from the left, but this time the 9 blundered the right hand, with which he tried to define with a slap.

Ruben missed an incredible goal at 23′ when another Blanco cross headed alone at the near post and the ball went close to the far post.

Vecchio arrived free at 25′ after an overflow by Blanco and finished weakly from the right and Gagliardo shone.

Until at 31′ Blanco again sent a cross that Gonzalo Paz deflected with a fist in the ball dispute with Ruben, in a clear penalty that the referee Pablo Dóvalo charged after several seconds, at the request of the first linesman , John Of The Neck.

Ruben himself changed the shot for a goal, with a dry right foot, down and to the right of Gagliardo, and cut Vecchio’s streak of two missed penalties.

Barracas, who had little ball but played well on the left, almost tied it at 43′ on a free kick from Tapia that Glaby touched alone, but the ball went close to the far post.

And Ruben almost increased at 44′ when he received from Gamba on the edge of the area, passed a defender and finished off from the right, but Gagliardo saved the corner, in a great save.

The game was another in the complement because Barracas went ahead, pressed in the middle and began to attack against a Central defender who lost the ball and was literally another team, with very serious defensive mistakes, which condemned him.

Barracas equalized at 10′ with a Mouche corner from the left that Komar cleared with a header and the ball fell to Arce, who outside the area hit a right-footed volley that went into Servio’s upper right corner, in the which will probably be the best goal of the date.

The goal further deconcentrated Central, to the point that at 19′ Bordón threw a long ball, which Komar tried to play back with Servio, but it fell short and Sepúlveda went alone, who dribbled past the goalkeeper and defined with his left foot.

Central missed the tie at 38′ when Covea entered a low cross from the right, which Ruben failed to push.

And at 40′ Barracas liquidated it with a center from Mater from the right, which Martínez rejected with a bad head and left it to Castro, also a substitute, who faked it before three defenders and put it down, next to the goalkeeper’s right post.

Thus, Barracas won his second consecutive match at the hands of Alfredo Berti and turned it around again, as against Aldosivi.

And Central, who played a good first half that should have won by a greater difference, stayed in the complement due to a goal from another match and two blunders in the other two goals, just in the match prior to the Rosario classic.
