Structural fire in Cañar leaves five dead

On the morning of this Saturday, March 12, 2022, there was a fire in the Javín sector, in Cañar. Five people died.

A fuel tanker collided with two houses in Javin, Canar, the morning of this Saturday, March 12, 2022, and caused a large fire, according to the ECU-911.

The emergency services received the call. For the rescue tasks staff came from Fire brigade from the cantons of Cañar, Suscal and officers of the National Police.

Five people died: three men between 19 and 45 years old, including the driver, who was burned. In addition, two women aged 48 and 17. One person was injured and was taken to a hospital. The bodies were taken to the Cañar morgue for the respective process. (GVL)
