Registrations to access credits are received until November 3
At the Headquarters of the Departmental Directorate of the Ministry of Social Development, the presentation of the Agreement for credits for MIDES Monotributistas was held.
Those who register will be able to access a maximum amount of $50,000 that can be paid in up to 18 installments.
The deadline for applications began last Monday, October 20 and will last until Monday, November 3, while the start of credit evaluations will begin on November 10.
“This agreement, in which ANDE also participates, allows us to reach the monotributist MIDES with financial support designed for entrepreneurs, tools that allow growth so that the entrepreneur is financed according to the margins of his ventures” express Adriana Mateo.
“This is a nationwide project that will reach 1,110 businesses. When divided among 19 departments, it generates 58 places for Cerro Largo” announced the Microfinance Republic Reference.
“There will be a maximum amount to be granted and a preferential rate so that the tool really works” held.
This is the 2nd Edition of this Program. It had been carried out in 2024 but due to various inconveniences, 43 entrepreneurs presented themselves with 3 and a half million pesos delivered. “Happily we had a very high return. The delinquency in that portfolio is less than 3%, which is why we value this tool as very positive” he remarked.
REGISTRATION POINTS IN THE THREE CITIES
“The deadline for registration began on the 20th and ends on November 3. You can register through the República Microfinanzas page, there is the link. Otherwise we have three points of attention: Commercial and Industrial Center, House of Culture of Río Branco on Tuesdays and in the Municipality of Fraile Muerto where the MIDES Office operates every Wednesday you can come to register.” detailed Matías Cousillas.
The entrepreneur who wants to access these credits must have been working for at least 6 months. “Those who are not understood still have the benefit with us beyond the fact that the interest rate is not preferential as in this case” he explained.
This is an agreement between República Microfinanzas, the Ministry of Social Development and the National Development Agency to support the MIDES social monotributists.
UP TO 18 INSTALLMENTS
“The loan must be paid in up to 18 monthly installments, an amount of up to $50,000. They can do it in 10 or 12 installments, depending on each person’s payment capacity.” Cousillas remarked.
“The important thing about giving it good dissemination is that there are 58 places at the level of the 19 departments. It may be the case that some do not fill them and in that case they will be redistributed” Adriana Mateo specified. “For this redistribution, certain criteria will be taken into account, such as, for example, whether the monotributista who was left out has other supports, the situation of vulnerability, unemployment in the department. There are other issues that will be taken into account to eventually bring excess quotas from other departments to Cerro Largo” reported.
