Two subjects, identified as Osmar Isais Ceballo Campos, 26 years old, and Anderson Eduardo Cova Martínez (28), who were engaged in theft from homes, were arrested by officials of the Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigation Corps, assigned to the Coordination of Crimes Against Property of the Maturín Municipal Delegation, in the Los Tulipanes sector of the Alto Los Godos parish, municipality Maturín, Monagas state.
The information was released by the director of the police force, Douglas Rico, through his account on the social network Instagram.
Field investigations and film investigations carried out by the police commission determined that the antisocials used their skills to stealthily enter the properties of their victims in the Los Tulipanes sector, taking advantage of the absence of the inhabitants to steal valuable objects, thus obtaining an illicit economic benefit.
Likewise, it was learned that Ceballo already has a police record for qualified homicide and Cova, three records for generic robbery, carrying, detaining or concealing a weapon and common generic theft.
After the capture of those identified in the Alto Los Godos parish, they were immediately placed under the orders of the Superior Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry of the Monagas state for the corresponding legal procedures.
