Marcelo Odebrechtformer director of the construction company Odebrecht who signed an effective collaboration agreement with the Lava Jato special teamwill give his testimony on March 16 in Brazil before the prosecutors and a representative of the ad hoc prosecutor’s office.
The ministerial resolution 0058-2022-JUS published this Saturday, March 12, authorized the trip of the ad hoc public prosecutor for cases involving Odebrecht and other companies, Nory Marilyn Vega Claro.
The text indicates that the prosecution notified the attorney on February 16 of this year that a procedure would have been scheduled to collect Marcelo Odebrecht’s face-to-face testimonial statement for Wednesday, March 16 at the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Sao Paulo.

This had already been reported weeks ago by the coordinator of the Lava Jato special team, Rafael Vela Barba, as part of the investigation of the Gasoducto del Sur case.
“We already have scheduled the face-to-face testimony of Marcelo Bahia Odebrecht in the city of Sao Paulo for the Gasoducto del Sur case for March 16,” Vela told Ideeleradio.
The prosecutor assured that this testimony will allow progress in the investigation of the Gasoducto del Sur, which involves former president Ollanta Humala, former first lady Nadine Heredia, and the Nationalist Party.
