Cesar Acuna he did it again. The founder of the César Vallejo University and leader of Alianza Para el Progreso once again became a trend after launching a new phrase worthy of his particular repertoire: “Don’t waste your time, later, for me, is late, tomorrow is worse.”
The comment, which was intended to be an exhortation to immediate action, ended up generating laughter among the students and thousands of reactions on social networks.
The scene occurred during a talk at his own school, where Acuña sought to motivate young people not to leave things for later. With his characteristic slow tone, he said the phrase with conviction, without imagining that it would become the new meme of the week.
“Whatever you want to do now, do it right now,” he concluded.
It is not the first time that Acuña surprises the public with his existential reflections. Over the years, he has left pearls such as “silver as a court”, “my father was my father” or “time does not pass, time passes”.
Social networks did not overlook this linguistic gem and described him as ‘The Socrates of the North’. In a matter of hours, the phrase “later, it’s too late for me” became a trend, accompanied by all kinds of interpretations.
