The Security Minister, Anibal Fernandezsaid this Saturday that the president Alberto Fernández communicated with the vice president, Cristina Fernández de Kirchnerin the face of the attack suffered by their offices during last Thursday’s demonstration in front of the National Congress, when the agreement with the International Monetary Fund was being discussed, and affirmed that after that the president instructed him to act “rigorously”, but “without repressing”.
The official spoke in this way in a thread he published on his Twitter social network account, in response to a tweet from General Secretary of La Cámpora and Minister of Community Development of the province of Buenos Aires, Andrés Larroquewho stated: “The government’s silence and parsimony in the face of the attack on the vice president’s office are stunning.”
The Minister of Security, in this sense, stated: “Dear Cuervo, ‘you are stunned by the silence and parsimony’ of the Government in the face of the attack on Cristina’s offices, but do you know something? “After that, he called me instructing me to act rigorously as we did and without repressing, remembering that we all come from the same school,” Fernández said, adding: “What do I intend with this? Do not leave single words or adjectives then used by the prophets of hate”.
In that post, he recalled a tweet that he himself had published, in which he maintained “Deplorable situation with disturbances. The City is a jurisdiction ceded a few years ago. With the PFA we insist on acting without repression but putting an immediate end to the excesses. It will be remembered the wounded and the violence when it comes to pension reform”.
The Security Minister continued his thread by stating: “I have spent so many years by Cristina and Néstor’s side that I take them on as a family” and highlighted: “I have said it and I keep my expressions of affection that I only express with the care of what is private I have worked on everything that was asked: hard or not so hard, agreeing or not. And I will always be.”
“As the years go by, I have earned the right to express my opinion and bank what I feel is right (you may not like that),” he said, noting: “As head of security, I took care of Cristina’s person without her realizing it, with civilian personnel. The President is aware“.

The acts of violence
occurred on last Thursday in front of the National Congress provoked by a group of demonstrators contrary to the agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) while the project on the agreement was being debated in the lower house.
In that framework, they attacked the headquarters of the National Congress with stones, damaging part of the vice president’s office.
