Colombia will have a new system and it will do so through Bre-B a platform to make different financial transfers by means of an instrument called a Key. What does it consist of and what is the procedure to create it?
According to information published on the website of the Bank of the Republic (Banrep), the Key is the identification that a person has to be able to link their means of payment, such as a bank account or electronic deposit.
In this way, the system requires the user to request an indicator to carry out money sending and receiving transactions. It is important to keep in mind that each bank offers different alternatives, based on the information that the client has directly associated with their account at said entity.
What are the steps to create your Key?
According to the official Banrep website, this will be a procedure that will have to be carried out directly at the financial institution to which your product is linked.
One detail to consider is that a Key can be associated with a single account. But an account can also be associated with various keys as mentioned by the aforementioned institution.
