Revalidate
The Revalida process serves to evaluate the training of Brazilians and foreigners who graduated abroad and want to practice medicine in Brazil.
The exam has two annual editions and is aimed both at foreigners who graduated in medicine outside Brazil and at Brazilians who graduated in another country and want to practice the profession in their homeland.
Revalida is held in two annual editions and consists of two stages (theoretical and clinical skills) that address, in an interdisciplinary way, the five major areas of medicine: internal medicine, surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, pediatrics and family medicine, and community (public health).
Revalida does not classify higher education institutions from other countries.
