Various human rights organizations have warned that Tudares Bracho’s case meets the elements of a forced disappearance, a practice considered a crime against humanity under international law.
For Mariana González, her husband “was unjustly trapped and is a victim” of the political conflict, which also led Edmundo González, her father, to go into exile in September of last year in Spain, from where he claims the presidency of Venezuela.
