Drug trafficking network linked to Serbian maintains operations in the DR

The most recent confiscationof 643 packages of cocaineconfirms that foreign activities continue in force. According to authorities, the shipment is linked to Boros, who is wanted by the Interpol for his alleged participation in the shipment of drugs to the United States, Puerto Rico, Spain and Italy.

Early this Saturday morning, 17 simultaneous raids were carried out in different parts of the country during the Operation Leoparda joint operation of Public Ministry and the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), under the cooperation of the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), which resulted in the arrest of three men and one woman, all of Dominican nationality.

The detainees were identified as Daniela Amancio OlavarríaRafael Torres Díaz, Wilson Rafael Inirio and Néstor Julio Rodríguez, who will be subjected to charges of drug trafficking and money laundering.
