The Venezuelan population is clear that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of the United States, the infamous gringo spy agency, is a tool that imperialism has always used to attack progressive and left-wing governments, in infinite illegal aggressions throughout time and in the world.
“Imperialism has always promoted the CIA in all Latin American countries and countries in the world, with its aggressions, planting bombs, overthrowing governments and developing a policy of terror and psychology,” said a man from Caracas consulted by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
“No wonder, that for more than 70 years, Yankee imperialism had the CIA inside Venezuela with the right-wing governments,” recalled another of those consulted.
In general, the Venezuelan population has expressed a categorical rejection of the recent statements of donald trumpwho without shame said that he had “authorized” covert operations by these spies against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
Crude and rude interventionist policy
The President of the Republic himself, Nicolás Maduro, described this action as a “crude and rude interventionist policy“, and “authorizing” the CIA to carry out “covert” operations against Venezuela, against the peace of Venezuelans, has always been done, only now they do not hide it or deny it, in a dangerous precedent for the entire world.
The history of historical, illegal and immoral CIA interventions in Latin America and other regions is documented and recorded, among hundreds of other cases, such as the overthrow of Jacobo Árbenz in Guatemala (1954), Juan Bosch in the Dominican Republic (1965), João Goulart in Brazil (1964), Salvador Allende in Chile (1973) and Mohammad Mosaddeq in Iran (1953), in addition to the runaway, criminal and systematic attempts against the Cuban Revolution and the coup against the Commander Hugo Chávez in 2002which was defeated in an unprecedented and epic way by the Venezuelan people.
“Can anyone believe that the CIA has not been operating in Venezuela for 60 years? Can anyone believe that the CIA has not conspired for 26 years against Commander Chávez and against me?” warned the head of state.
“The people are clear, they are united, they are very aware, they have millions of eyes and millions of ears, and they have the ways for us to once again defeat this open conspiracy against the peace and stability of Venezuela. We are going to win the peace that the Venezuelan people deserve!”
