Macabre find! A young mother and her baby were found lifeless in a sack and with signs of having been beaten and strangled. The event occurred in the Bellavista annex, Surcubamba district, Tayacaja province, northeast of Huancavelica.
The residents of the area cannot stop being astonished by the cruelty with which Gimena Curo Ramos, who was barely 18 years old, and her baby Aitana, approximately one and a half years old, were attacked.
The young mother was last seen at around 3:00 p.m. last Wednesday. Her relatives were desperately looking for her.
According to the testimony of some neighbors, the young woman was seen boarding a motorcycle with her daughter, heading to the Vista Alegre annex. Since then his whereabouts were unknown but the complaint was already with the police. However, the search came to an end when the victim’s mother found the bodies at 6 a.m. the next day (yesterday) on the banks of a river.

The bodies were found inside a sack, on the edge of a little-traveled road in the Lindahuaycco sector, near the river that limits the communities of Bellavista and Vista Alegre. The mother, who was just finishing her last year of high school, shows signs of having been strangled.
Police personnel arrived at the scene to remove the body, which was transferred to the Surcubamba health center, and then transferred to the Public Ministry of Huancayo, for the corresponding autopsy.
The motive for the crime is unknown at this time. Neighbors suspect that the mother’s ex-partner, who is out of the country, would be involved in the crime. Meanwhile, investigations have already begun to find the material authors, who would be three to four people, who would have already been identified.
