The Government of Venezuela rejected, through an official statement, the recent Zionist attacks against the Lebanese Republic and its people, considering it illegal and unjustified.
“The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela repudiates and condemns in the strongest and firmest terms, the recent bombings that the Zionist entity has carried out in recent days against the Lebanese Republic and its People,” says the text published by Foreign Minister Yván Gil on his Telegram channel.
The statement also indicates that this action “attacks all the norms of coexistence, violating the Charter of the United Nations, international law and the basic principles of State sovereignty, this being a common practice by the Zionist entity.”
Likewise, the text states that Israel insists on disturbing peace and stability in the region, while seeking to weaken the Government of the Lebanese Republic.
“This aggression is part of the warlike strategy of the Government of Israel, which desperately seeks any excuse to undermine the efforts made by the International Community to bring peace and stability in the West Asia region and weaken the efforts made by the government of President Joseph Aoun to strengthen sovereignty and stability in the Lebanese Republic and the noble Lebanese people.”
