This intervention responds to a commitment assumed between the institutions involved, in response to the neighbors’ complaints about the deterioration that the sanitation works had caused in several road arteries in the city.
The sanitation began in 2022 and “the treatment plan and other works are still missing to finish the work, and to conclude the work, and then proceed to the home connections,” the vice president of OSE Guillermo Caraballo informed EL ECO.
The street repair work is carried out by the Works Directorate of the Municipality of Colonia, through the company Golden Sand SRL, in coordination with the Municipality of Juan Lacaze.
The repaving began on Dr. Horacio Vacchelli and Tránsito Pesado streets, and will continue progressively in different areas, in accordance with the planning established between the parties.
Neighbors will be informed through brochures or personal notification prior to the start of work on each section, so that they can take the necessary precautions.
The Municipality of Juan Lacaze requests the collaboration of the entire community to respect the signs and recommendations during the development of the works, thus contributing to the correct and safe execution of these fundamental repairs to improve traffic and the urban quality of the city.
