In this new edition of the program ‘Emprende Sí o Sí’, Guido Sánchez Yabar interviewed Mariana Rodríguez, Image Director of the Romero Foundationabout the innovative proposal of the Romero Group Scholarships. With them, the aim is to promote free virtual education for the benefit of the population, in addition to helping employment and entrepreneurship.
The objective of this program is to guarantee an accessible way to quality education, especially for older adults who wish to improve their employability skills or start their own businesses. The platform’s online courses have helped students in everything from personal finance to leadership, sales, and digital marketing skills.
Rodríguez added that not only is the theory applied, but tools are taught that could be immediately applied to their work or venture. Above all, the scholarships are aimed at all those, students or workers, who want to improve their professional profile. The courses have certificates and are customizable for each participant, helping them study whenever they want and wherever.
Rodríguez said that due to the high number of independent workers and entrepreneurs in our country, key education will improve the productivity of small businesses. The scholarships offer more courses every day, and the platform will grow to be one of the largest in Peru, in terms of free learning.
