He Dominican Institute of Meteorology (INDOMET) reported today Friday that the precipitation forecast will continue influenced due to humidity and instability associated with the passage of the frontal system in combination with a trough at different levels of the troposphere.
Whatand means that will follow happening precipitation of different intensities with thunderstorms and bursts of windmainly in the afternoon and evening hours over several towns in the provinces on alert and warning meteorological.
On alert
These precipitations will be more noticeable in different municipalities of: Monte Cristi, Valverde, Puerto Plata, Santiago, La Vega, San José de Ocoa, Espaillat, María Trinidad Sánchez, Samaná, Duarte, Monseñor Nouel, El Seibo, La Altagracia, Hato Mayor, Barahona, Pedernales, among others.

While tomorrow, Saturday, the approach of another frontal system and a trough in different levels of troposphere will cause that again, the content of humidity and instability increases over the national territory, generating weak to moderate rainfall, sometimes being strong, accompanied by electrical storms and gusts of wind, mainly in the afternoon and early hours of the night over several towns of the provinces located in the northeastern, southeastern regions, mountain systems and the area border.
The provinces are; La Vega, Samaná, Monseñor Nouel, San José de Ocoa, Hato Mayor, El Seibo, among others, under the meteorological alert level.
