President Maduro activated the Oddi Mérida, Trujillo, Lara and Yaracuy

The head of State, Nicolás Maduro, announced early in the morning of this Friday, October 17, the activation of the Comprehensive Defense Management Bodies (Oddi) under Operation Independence 200 in the Zodi of the states of Mérida, Trujillo, Lara and Yaracuy.

Through his Telegram channel he explained that: “This is how we are completing all the necessary preparation, reaching the optimal state for the comprehensive defense of the Homeland.”

The president recalled that during the early hours of this Thursday, October 16, the deployment began to activate the Management Bodies for Comprehensive Defense (Oddi) in the states of Táchira, Amazonas and Apure through Operation Independence 200, an activity that is part of the civic – military – police exercises for the protection of the nation against any attack.

He stressed that the 27 tasks and actions have been checked in a total deployment.

Finally, he assured the Venezuelan population that “We are fine-tuning the machinery to win Peace every day and confront threats in any circumstance.”
