An academic and cultural event organized by the National Administration of Public Education (ANEP), the Decentralized Commission of Cerro Largo and the Melo Teacher Training Institute “Dr. Emilio Oribe”, through the Academic Department of History.

A discussion and presentation of the book titled: “Seeing Independence. The dialogue between political images and concepts 200 years after 1825. Republican iconography: political images and concepts in Uruguay (1830-1930)”, by Ariadna Islas, Clara von Sanden, Jorge Sierra and Matías Borba.
The activity took place at the House of the University of the Republic (CUCEL), located at Herrera 639, city of Melo, on October 15 at 6:00 p.m.
