Three alleged members of the criminal gang called “The Fantastic Four” were arrested by agents from the PNP Satipo Police Station, during a police operation. Those intervened were identified as Armando Efraín Curo Gabriel (25), Azumi Naysha Maraví Laura (19) and Brad Smit Sánchez Rosas (18), investigated for the alleged crime against property in the form of aggravated theft, to the detriment of Dina Silpa Pozo Aparco (56).
The police action was carried out after the complaint was filed by the victim before the PNP Mazamari Police Station, who reported the theft of her motorcycle in the Jorge Chávez No. 621 – Mazamari passage.
Through intelligence work, the troops located the suspects in different areas of Satipo. Curo Gabriel and Maraví Laura were seized in the Alfonso Ugarte passage, while Sánchez Rosas was arrested on Antonio Raimondi Avenue with Manuel Prado, who revealed the place where they hid the stolen vehicle.
The stolen motorcycle was found in an abandoned house in the Rafael Gastelua sector – Mártires de la Paz urbanization, covered with corrugated metal and with the contact plate forced open, confirming its positive registration in the SIDPOL PNP system.
The detainees were placed at the disposal of the PNP Mazamari Police Station for the corresponding proceedings, a fact communicated to the provincial prosecutor Dr. Hamilton Jhon Montoro Salazar, of the Second Provincial Corporate Criminal Prosecutor’s Office of Satipo.
