The Public Ministry admitted a criminal complaint related to an investigation for the alleged commission of a crime against life and personal integrity, to the detriment of two people who died in an event that occurred on September 23, 2021 in the electrical room of the facilities of the Hossan Apostolic Community.
They are Edgar Alexander Mojica Solís, 54 years old, and his son Edgar Alexander Mojica Pizón, 30, who were doing electrical work in the Hossana church, and received a “high intensity electrical shock” that caused their death. .
In this case, the electrical room of the Hossana church is a key element, however in the complaint an alleged and serious irregularity is noted: “the defendants (administrative of Hossana) manipulated the scene of the fateful event.”
It is specifically stated that ‘by order given by the defendants, all the evidence from the crime scene was manipulated and the scene of the events was arranged before the inspection, to hide, destroy and manipulate elements and evidence that would cover up the crime and its actors. ‘.
The legal appeal is filed by the lawyer Gladis Barahona, on behalf of relatives of the deceased and they sue the Dominio Foundation, the Christian Communication Association, the Hossana Foundation, Vision Rio Pinson, SA, Edwin Álvarez, Dalys Margarita Reyes de Álvarez and Cherany Georgina Cumberbatch.
A source within the organization told the newspaper El Siglo that they would offer statements this Thursday.
In this case, compensation of $10 million is requested for the atrocious, fateful, painful and tragic death of both workers (father and son).
