The General Directorate of Migration (DGM) reiterated this Thursday that citizens haitiansas well as those of any another nationalitythat have valid visa or residence and valid from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom or a member country of the European Union, can enter the Dominican territory without the need for a Dominican visa.
In a brief statement, the DGM specified that this exemption does not apply when the visa that the foreigner has is a single entry and has already been used.
“If the visa is for one (1) entry and they have already used it, obviously they lost the legal capacity to enter those countries, and therefore the Dominican Republic,” highlighted the DGM.
