Colombian authorities arrested Adrián José Rodríguez Gudiño, alias El Adriancito, one of the most wanted gang leaders in Venezuela. The Colombian National Police published a photograph of the detainee escorted by two armed agents uniformed with the logos of the Unified Action Group for Personal Freedom (Gaula).
But in addition to Gaula, agents from the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) participated in the capture of El Adriancito.
The subject was in a house that served as a vehicle sale, located in the municipality of La Ceja, Antioquia, Colombia, the reports say.
El Adriancito had entered Colombia in 2023, after escaping from the Arrest and Preventive Detention Center located in Cabimas (Zulia). From the neighboring country, the subject directed the criminal activities of his organization that commits kidnappings, extortion and hitmen in Maracaibo and Cabimas (Zulia), according to investigations.
