He magistrate Oldo Peraltarepresentative of Public Ministryexplained that the purpose of the action was to enforce the decision of an extraordinary assembly that elected a new directive of the Cibaeño Board against Cancer, the entity that manages the Oncology.
“The work we did was simply to give compliance to the mandate of the assembly that chose a new administration. The previous one was asked to, as civilized and professional people, hand over control of the center peacefully,” Peralta said.
He Public Ministry intervened after Héctor Lora insisted on not recognize the legitimacy of the new directive, claiming that it has no legal basis.
According to him, the assembly that elected the new equipment was irregular and it did not have the participation of all valid members of the board.
During the intervention, the authorities ordered the unemployment of the essential administrative areas of the Oncology so that the new address could assume his duties without incident.
