Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), authorized this Monday (13) former president Jair Bolsonaro to receive medical care at home.
The decision was made after lawyers stated that the former president had worsened hiccups in recent hours and needed medical attention. Since August this year, Bolsonaro is under house arrest.
Moraes stated that, from now on, doctor Marina Grazziotin Pasolini, appointed by the defense, will be able to provide care to the former president, without the need for prior authorization from the STF.
The minister also highlighted that Bolsonaro is authorized to be referred for emergency care at the hospital, and must send proof of care within 24 hours.
Last month, Bolsonaro presented malaise, pre-syncope, vomiting with a drop in blood pressure and needed to be admitted to hospital DF Star, in Brasília.

Prison
Since August 4th, Bolsonaro has been under house arrest as ordered by the minister.
The precautionary measure was determined in the investigation in which federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP), son of the former president, and Bolsonaro himself were investigated for working with the government of the president of the United States, Donald Trump, to promote retaliatory measures against the Brazilian government and ministers of the Supreme Court, including the cancellation of visas and the application of the Magnitsky Law.
Last month, the First Panel of the STF sentenced Bolsonaro to 27 years and three months of prison in the criminal action of the coup plot.
