More than 96.6 thousand people will take the first edition of the National Medical Training Assessment Exam (Enamed) in 2025 next Sunday (19).
Annually, the Enamed test is carried out by the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) in all states and the Federal District. In 2025, the test will be administered in 225 Brazilian municipalities, 9.8% more than in 2023, when it counted 205 municipalities.
Confirmation card
To check the test location, participants must access the registration confirmation card, in the Enamed Systemwith the password for the Gov.br portal.
The document it also confirms the registration number, exam date and times. It also states whether the participant will receive specialized care or treatment by social name, if the candidate selected this option at the time of registration.

Test day
This Sunday, the opening of the gates at the Enamed test sites is scheduled for 12 pm and closing at 1 pm, Brasília time. The test will start at 1:30 pm. Lasting five hours, the end is scheduled for 6:30 pm.
Participants must present an official identification document, original and with photo, issued by Brazilian bodies. According to the notice of Enamed 2025, the following are accepted:
· identity card issued by Public Security Secretariats, Armed Forces, Military Police or Federal Police;
· identification provided by class councils or orders;
· passport;
· National Driving License (CNH);
· Work and Social Security Card issued after January 27, 1997;
· National Identification Card (CIN);
· Digital document with photo (e-Título, CNH, RG and CIN) presented in the official app or on Gov.br.
· Foreign participants must present an official, original document with a photo, such as a passport.
Proof
The exam will have 100 objective, multiple-choice questions, with the same number for each of the areas of medicine covered (gynecology and obstetrics; pediatrics; family and community medicine; and public health and mental health).
The preliminary answer sheet for the test will be released on October 22nd.
Medical residency
The participant’s individual result in Enamed can be used as a selection stage for medical residency, through the National Residency Exam (Enare).
Enare is a unified selection process, nationwide, aimed at selecting candidates for entry into medical residency and multi-professional residency programs and in the health professional area.
Furthermore, the candidates’ performances will serve to guide public policies aimed at medical training.
