One year of the Brugada government in CDMX
Some of the achievements highlighted by the head of Government during the first year of her administration in Mexico City are:
-The 26% increase in local tax collection in the city until the second quarter of 2025.
-Public investment 44,000 million pesos in infrastructure works, 18% more than in 2024.
-Historical budget for housing of 9,000 million pesos.
-36% increase in foreign direct investment in the city, with 19,000 million dollars in the first half of 2025.

-2,000 new free Wi-Fi internet connection points in the city.
-60% reduction in high-impact crimes in 2019 compared to 2025, going from 131 crimes per day in 2019 to 56 crimes per day in 2025; decrease of 12% compared to 2024.
-Decrease in intentional homicide by 50% from 2019 to 2025; The decrease has been 10% this year compared to 2024.
-6,757 arrests of alleged perpetrators of high-impact crimes in the city, 44 criminal groups dismantled.
-44% fewer femicides than in 2024. Of the 33 cases registered so far in 2025, 28 cases already have an alleged perpetrator detained or an arrest warrant.
The president also highlighted the 20% increase in the number of quadrants of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) and 40% more video surveillance cameras connected to C5.

Brugada also highlighted:
-334 kilometers of ‘Walk Free, Walk Safe’ trails to increase road lighting and safety.
-Strategic repaving program of 250 linear kilometers of roads with an investment of 2,600 million pesos.
-Renovation of Calzada de Tlalpan: start of construction of the 1.8 km Elevated Park between Chacabano and Plaza Tlaxcoaque, modernization of 34 underbridges, installation of the 34 kilometer Gran Tenochtitlán cycle path.
-Construction of three new Cablebús lines: Tlalpan with resources from the federal government; Magdalena Contreras-Álvaro Obregón and Milpa Alta-Tláhuac with city resources.
-Opening of Metro Line 1 Observatory on November 16; start this year of the renewal of Line 3.
-The Ecobici bicycle sharing system is doubled with 7,000 new bicycles and 500 new stations.
