The organization seeks to warn and prevent communist penetration in the United States and the rest of free countries.
LIMA, Peru – “We Cubans come from the future”, with this motto the Cuban Anti-Communist Foundation was officially born in Miami, Florida, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting freedom, democracy and human rights especially within the United States and Latin America.
at a dinner presentation and collection of funds held this Saturday, many of the founding members of the FCA gathered, including influencers, activists, personalities from exile and American politics.
“We are the people who are going to change history (…) the people of Cuba who do not give up. We are that force that people within Cuba may not find due to hunger, fear, repression and the torment in which they live,” said Alexander Otaola, founder of the organization.
During the presentation, the role of the FCA in alerting and preventing communist penetration in the United States and the rest of free countries was exalted, as well as its focus on exposing the ties that contaminate the world from the Island.
The event was also an opportunity to highlight the main objectives of the Foundation and the values included in its statutes. The fight against communism and all its manifestations anywhere in the world is highlighted, with a special focus on Cuba; promoting education on human rights, individual freedom and personal responsibility; and promoting the development of a democratic political culture in the Cuban communityboth inside and outside the Island.

“This Foundation was born to denounce the danger of communism. We want to lobby in Washington; bring the voice of Cubans to universities, schools, school boards and local governments,” announced influencer and activist Liu Santiesteban, one of the leading voices of the FCA.
According to Santiesteban, there is a great penetration of communist ideology in Florida and other US states, which is why it is important for his organization’s activism to provide tools and resources to youth against indoctrination.
All people who share its objectives and values may be members of the Foundation, having the full right to participate in the activities and be elected to positions on the Board of Directors (composed of four members).
“I love Cuba, I want freedom for Cuba, but my duty is also the protection of this country (United States). I do not want what happened to me to happen to my grandchildren and my children, who had to leave my country seeking freedom with my father, my mother and my grandmother,” Florida Congressman Carlos Giménez recalled during his speech.
“The duty of us, of this generation, is to create a better state of life for our children and grandchildren. Protect what is the American dream for them. That also means that we have to destroy the communists in Venezuela, in Cuba and in Nicaragua,” he added.
In addition to Giménez, other members of the FCA sent messages of commitment and support to the cause in statements to CubaNet, among them Rosa María Payárepresentative of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights; the activist Diana Fernández; and La Madrina del Canal de las Emociones, renowned YouTuber and activist.
The official presentation of the Cuban Anti-Communist Foundation took place successfully in the southwest of the city accompanied by live music and artistic presentations.
