“Let us demand concrete solutions and responses from all our authorities, exercising our citizen rights firmly and without violence. The long-delayed presidential replacement is not a real solution if the norms and practices that have led us to a catastrophe of insecurity and misgovernance are maintained,” he expressed.
“The corruption, petty interest and contempt for citizens that some authorities have shown in the Congress and the Executive, both with the lowest levels of citizen approval in Peruvian history, must give way to a new attitude from the highest government authorities,” he added.

“This requires reform in law enforcement, including personal cleansing whose behavior accentuates citizen distrust,” he instructed. Then, he added. “It is also essential to repeal and modify laws and regulations that hinder the work of ensuring the security of all Peruvians.“.

On the other hand, he stated that it is crucial to respect and maintain economic stability and take advantage of the boom in raw material prices. “Congress and the Executive must protect the integrity and stability of our economy, avoiding excesses in public spending and promoting austerity, starting with Congress itself.”
