Relatives of Colombian citizens detained in Venezuela held a protest at the Simón Bolívar International Bridge, in Cúcuta, this Saturday, October 11, to demand their freedom.
The activity, called from 8:00 am, brought together friends, mothers, fathers, wives, children and human rights activists, who questioned the arbitrary detentions by the Maduro administration.
They demanded information about the prisoners, many of them with more than a year behind bars, and asked for their immediate release.
The journalist Luis Gonzalo He shared photos of the protest on his social networks and noted that relatives closed the border bridge that connects Venezuela with Colombia.

According to the balance presented by the organization Foro Penal on September 18, the majority of foreign political prisoners in Venezuela are from Colombia.
