Various merchants and neighbors expressed their displeasure against the EPS Grau, because they have been living with the flow of drainage water for two days, due to the collapse of a mailbox that affects various clothing stores, hardware stores, food stalls and other establishments in the Buenos Aires neighborhood, near the market, in the province of Sullana.

According to the residents, it is a mailbox that collapsed at the intersection of Calle Dos and Paseo Seis de Agosto and, because it does not have a lid, they have had to place a ladder as a sign of prevention and danger, since they fear that an accident will occur that they will regret.
“This is a problem that we have had since yesterday (Friday). All of this is flooded as you can see. We, the neighbors and the merchants of Seis de Agosto and block one of Calle Dos, are being affected with this problem that always happens. They come, repair it, and the problem occurs again,” said Mario Navarro, who resides on block one of Calle Dos.
Likewise, the owners of clothing stores on said street expressed their displeasure, because they pointed out that people do not buy from them because of the bad smell and the flow of drain water.
This has also been affecting the merchants of sandals, shoes, and clothing that they sell at their stands on the Dos de Mayo intersection, because the water reaches that area. “What we are asking for is a definitive solution to this problem,” said a merchant.
While in the Bellavista district, in Sullana, various families from block 4 of Apurímac Street reported that the water from the drains is coming out through the drains and boxes inside the homes and flooding them.
“How is it possible that this is happening inside our homes. What’s happening is the last straw. We can’t even have breakfast because of the filthy water,” said a mortified resident of said street.
