The General Directorate of Traffic and Land Transportation Safety (Digestett), reported that the filming made at the entrance to the Santiago elevated corresponds to an audiovisual production included in a campaign against road accidentswhich will be presented to the public later.
The communication address of the Digestettled by Colonel Rafael Tejeda Balderas, explained that the filming is part of the preventive actions carried out by the institution together with Dominican artists, with the aim of reducing traffic accidents and promoting a culture of road responsibility.
“Later we will be using strategies for dissemination with a note. In particular, we will establish the day and time for the dissemination,” said Colonel Tejeda Balderas.
- The clarification arises after the circulation of videos on social networks where cars were observed in controlled maneuvers on the elevated Juan Pablo Duarte highway, in the entrance area to Santiago, which led many citizens to think that it was clandestine racing.
