Venezuelan government reaffirms diplomatic relations with the State of Qatar

The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, representing President Nicolás Maduro Moros, held a high-level meeting with the ambassador of the State of Qatar in Venezuela, Rashid Mohsen Fetais, with the aim of consolidating diplomatic ties between both nations.

“The purpose of this meeting was to reaffirm cooperation and strengthen diplomacy between our nations, especially in the context of the current regional geopolitics that puts peace in the region at risk,” he indicated.

Venezuela and the State of Qatar strengthen their diplomatic ties through bilateral meetings.

This strengthening of bilateral relations reflects the common interest of Venezuela and Qatar in building an international agenda based on cooperation, mutual understanding and the defense of peace as a fundamental value.
