Authorities of the Ministry of Education investigate alleged poisoning of 30 students at the Villa Los Almácigos high school, in Santiago Rodríguez.
The incident occurred yesterday afternoon, Friday, in the educational community of the Pedro Henríquez Ureña high school, from Villa Los Almácigos after a chemical substance was sprayed in several areas of the campus causing poisoning, according to preliminary information.
The students were rushed to the Municipal Hospital of Villa Los Almácigos, where they were treated and left for observation.
The investigation was carried out by the deputy director of the school, Mr. Freddy Solino Guzmán, together with the assistant of the School Police, Santo Fernández Then, who They checked the facilities and found the product container in one of the bathrooms.
According to the police report, the incident occurred around 1:45 p.m. when a group of students, not yet identified, He would have used, had contact with a product known as “Toxic Bomb Super Stinky Spray”, which was sprayed in the cafeteria, bathrooms and some classrooms of the educational center located on Mella Street in the community.
The case is under investigation by educational authorities. and police to determine those responsible and the circumstances in which the incident occurred.
