The IMSS simplifies the voluntary registration process

On March 3, the instance published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) the agreement ACDO.AS2.HCT.260122/12.P.DIR, where maximum terms of resolution and validity were approved.

In the application process for registration in the compulsory regime will have important changes. Some documents will no longer be requested by IMSS.

This procedure is carried out by non-salaried people so that they and their beneficiaries assert the provision of rights under the Social Security Law (LSS).

Requirements for voluntary registration to IMSS

The IMSS eliminated the registration form in the case of domestic workers. In addition, the term to request the procedure will be five days for employers and they must present:

  • curp
  • SSN
  • Email.
  • Official identification.
  • Free writing where registration is requested.
  • Proof of address.
