To fulfill what was promised during the electoral campaign, the social member on the Board of Directors of the Social Security Bank continues with the tour of the interior of the country.
The Business Representative has set the goal of being in each department at least 4 times a year.
On this occasion, he reached Fraile Muerto, Río Branco and Melo.
During his stay in the capital of Cerro Largo, he was at Expo Melo 2025, toured the fairgrounds and visited the studios of Radio Rio Branco at the Convents location.
“We have been to each department at least 4 times since we took office. Now around the end of the year we are going to be visiting again. For us it is important to do this” said José Pereyra.
“We are having a change of Board of Directors” he said in relation to the assumption of the new authorities designated by the political power. “The relationship is much better” stood out.
“We are at a moment in which we feel that we can propose to the Board of Directors, which is good” he assured.
“We had the issue of fines, late payments and surcharges, the debts of companies that were left behind and generated a tremendous headache. We had spoken with Senator Botana and with legislators from the National Party, it had been left hanging in the last period. We also had meetings two weeks ago with legislators from the National Party, with Senator Botana in particular, but we had a call from the President of the Chamber of Deputies saying that work was being done on the project. Many things that were stuck began to move again. “These are games that are played until the last minute.” said José Pereyra.
Later he maintained that new issues that concern the business sector were added. “There are some signs that do not cooperate, such as the fact that they are talking all the time about generating taxes. That seems to me to be not right.” remarked the representative of the business sector in the Social Security Bank.
